02.10.2023 - Growing Mid Wales, a regional partnership and engagement arrangement between the private and public sectors, and with UK and Welsh Government, has unlocked the first allocation of funding from both governments as part of the Mid Wales Growth Deal agreement.

29.09.2023 - On 18th September, at a regional partnership meeting aimed at promoting and representing the region's priorities for economic development, the renewed vision for economic growth in Mid Wales was discussed. The Growing Mid Wales Partnership reviewed key milestones to date and considered where the regional approach to economic development needed to be adapted further to reflect a number of challenges.

22.09.2023 - The Mid Wales Regional Skills Partnership (RSP) is interested in what you have to say about the challenges you face as a business and is currently running a short, 5-minute survey to find out more about these challenges, especially around the recruitment of skills, now and in the future.

20.09.2023 - From Monday 2nd of October, projects operating in the Local Authority areas of Ceredigion and Powys can apply for funding for the Multiply programme. Mid Wales has a budget of £5 million for Multiply projects up to December 2024.

13.01.2022 - Today, saw the signing of the Final Deal Agreement of the Mid Wales Growth Deal by the Welsh Government, UK Government and the region's local authorities, Ceredigion County Council and Powys County Council.

12.09.2023 - Ceredigion County Council and Powys County Councils continue to collaborate with partners in Mid Wales on a range of strategic matters that help to transform and grow the regional economy. From delivering the Mid Wales Growth Deal and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and leading on the Skills agenda, the work of Growing Mid Wales continues to grow from strength to strength.

25.07.2023 - On Monday, 24th of July at the Royal Welsh Show, Growing Mid Wales partners attended a reception to reflect on the progress that has been achieved to date and to look ahead at the next stages of development across all the region's work.

30.03.2023 - Mid Wales businesses and organisations who are thinking ahead about their future workforce needs recently came together for an engagement day, Grow - Define - Deliver Together where the Mid Wales Regional Skills Partnership Employment and Skills Plan 2022-2025 was officially launched.

28.03.2023 - At the Growing Mid Wales Board meeting held on 28 March, key documents have been approved, moving the Mid Wales Growth Deal a step closer to unlocking £110m combined funding from both the UK and Welsh Governments.

09.03.2023 - Ceredigion County Council and Powys County Council are pleased to announce that organisations in the region can soon submit their applications for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) in Mid Wales.

06.03.2023 - Grow - Define - Deliver Together, an engagement event hosted by the Mid Wales Regional Skills Partnership will take place on the morning of 23 March to give you, the businesses of Mid Wales an opportunity to come together and tell us what you need for the future to meet your business goals.

26.01.2023 - Following an initial piece of work that identified a need to develop additional employment sites across the region, further work has been completed to scope a proposed Growth Deal Sites and Premises Programme.
